Just so you know, there’s a petition trying to make a second EU referendum possible.

I know there’s a lot of debate about the effectiveness of petitions, but it’s very important to remember that the Leave vote won by 3.8%. Voter turnout was only 72%. This petition calls for the government to “implement a rule that if the remain or leave vote is less than 60% based a turnout less than 75% there should be another referendum”. Simply speaking, if this rule is implemented, there could be a second referendum.

If it reaches 100,000 signatures it will be debated in Parliament. All discussion would be beneficial now, and if there is a second referendum, it might allow people who have been shocked by the drastic economic effects already being witnessed the chance to change their mind. If you’re a British citizen or a UK resident and you can spare a moment, it’s worth giving it a sign.

I’ve seen ppl starting to regret they voted to leave actually
