I just saw your pictures with your degu sitting on you. Is that, not sure if normal is the right word, maybe usual? I have gerbils and they’re super shy and always fleeing (which of course, because duh, prey animal) and now I’m just wondering, because it looks like a bigger version of my gerbils (that doesn’t sound nearly as dumb in my head).

That doesn’t sound dumb at all, degus are prey animals too. It took time to get them to trust me and even now not all of them are happy sitting on me. They will all come over to me to take food, some are happy to sit on me to eat and others run away to sit in a corner. Some of them don’t like to be picked up and others are perfectly happy being handled, it depends on their personalities. 🙂

Daniel would like to take a moment to talk about how delicious puffed rice is, very tasty, definitely worth sitting still long enough to take a photo for. He doesn’t really care about what PHP Yorkshire is, he just wants treats, but maybe some humans would be interested? PHP Yorkshire is a one day PHP conference taking place in York on Saturday 8th April. There will be 13 speakers and, most importantly, food. Find out more here: https://www.phpyorkshire.co.uk

Signal boosting would be appreciated, only 2.5 weeks to go!
